Topics in Appalachia
Each semester, the Center hosts a series of campus symposia on a selected topic. The series is intended to stimulate interest in research in and on Appalachia.
History:
Fall 2006: "Discover Appalachia in the Archives"
This series showcased research derived from the Bert T. Combes Collection. Speakers shared their challenges and triumphs of working with one of the most extensive Appalachian archival collections in the region.
