Faculty from all UK colleges are eligible to apply for Igniting Research Collaborations (IRC) pilot funding. 

Contact your college ADR to participate and to get on the invitation list for this networking event.

• 3:15 pm Presentation by 3 invited faculty (5 min each)
• 3:30 pm Breakout networking groups (40 min)
• 4:10 pm Reconvene/review ideas for potential collaborations (30 min)
• 4:40 pm Breakout with different networking groups (40 min)
• 5:20 pm Reconvene/review ideas for potential collaborations (30 min)
• 5:50 pm Libations and continued networking  

2018 IRC Pilot Application Process

• Pilot proposals due May 29, 2018 to the Research Internal Funding Portal (listing coming soon: www.research2.uky.edu/internal_support)
  • 2 page research plan
  • 1 page bio for each investigator
  • 1 page budget/justification

• Proposal solicitation (email) will be broader than those attending the IRC network event
• Networking event participation is not required for pilot proposal submission
• Proposal review will be conducted by ADRs/Department Chairs of participating colleges
• Pilot funding available July 2018
