The recruitment and engagement of marginalized communities in research can be difficult. When trying to identify specific subsets of marginalized populations, it can feel impossible. This presentation will provide information about successful and not-so-successful recruitment efforts in recruiting and retaining aging LGBTQ participants from the Kentucky LGBTQ Aging Needs Assessment and Rural Rainbow Aging Studies.
