The Office of the Vice President for Research (VPR) will be sponsoring an Orientation to Research at the University of Kentucky for new faculty. VPR Lisa Cassis will present the vision for Research at UK and you will learn about the Research Infrastructure Units that support your research and creative work, from writing and submitting grants, to regulatory and compliance issues around research, to communicating your efforts, to supporting your research and creative work through on-line systems and data portals, to developing your research through intellectual property and technology transfer, and to assuring the responsible conduct of research. You will be able to meet and speak with the directors of each support unit.
