Southeast XLerator Network Program Manager


The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) at the University of Kentucky is transforming its commercialization activities to create a partnership culture that is focused on stronger relations with our stakeholders, greater transparency, and increased customer service.
The Southeast XLerator Network Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Office of Technology Commercialization, to develop an effective and utilized Hub, through an online platform and training and services to users, for accelerating technology transfer of biomedical innovations in the Southeast IDeA Region (KY, Mississippi, WV, Puerto Rico, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Louisiana). Reporting to the OTC Executive Director, this important and newly created position will help manage Phase II of this three-year large grant project, including designing and developing the online platform; creating digital educational content, commercialization tools and marketplaces; engaging and communicating with 24 university partners related to Hub effectiveness, updates, and needs; and liaising with Hub users to ensure adoption and utility. This position requires research, project management and strategic thinking related to biomedical technology acceleration, ready to blossom in a fun environment.
