Ryan McCoy
Ryan is a Graduate Research Assistant and PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy. His research focuses on the role of local knowledge within climate change research and policy. This research includes not only how local knowledge can help us better understand climate and climate change, but also how this knowledge can reflexively shape scientific practice and policy through transdisciplinary approaches. In addition, Ryan teaches classes on Food and Environmental Ethics.
