Shishir Sarker

Shishir Sarker is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Earth and Environmental at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on karst hydrogeology, where he investigates the susceptibility of karst spring to climate change, land-use/landcover change, and contaminations. His current research uses statistical, remote sensing, and machine learning modeling to evaluate the karst spring responses to climate change and anthropogenic contaminations in the mountainous karst regions in Western Himalayas (Kashmir) and Royal Spring Basin in Georgetown, Kentucky.
