About the Light Microscopy Core
The Light Microscopy Core serves the research community of the University of Kentucky by providing access to advanced fluorescence microscopes. The facility provides training and expertise in a range of fluorescence based techniques.

The facility is accessible at any time to members of the UK community that have an appropriate identification badge. Technical assistance is available on weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Location
The Light Microscopy core is located in room 088 of the Healthy Kentucky Research Building, at 760 Press Avenue, next to the Biomedical Biological Sciences Research Building off Virginia and Limestone Avenues. Room 088 is located in the basement of the HKRB facility.
