13th Annual Sanders-Brown 'Mind Matters' Health Fair Taking Place Virtually

The 13th annual University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Mind Matters Health Fair is set to take place from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, May 3. The format will follow last year’s move to a virtual platform to ensure the continued health and safety of both the presenters and attendees. 

The theme this year is “Hindsight is 2020 in 2021.”  As in years past, this event will focus on brain health and older adult wellbeing and strategies to maximize both. Additionally, presentations will include information relating to life during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Experts will share their knowledge on the following topics:

  • Music Therapy & Alzheimer’s disease
  • LATE Dementia
  • COVID-19
  • Blood Biomarkers
  • Research Advances
