Shiny and R: Making Data and Discovery Interactive and Fun

CCTS BERD Pizza and Pilots

Shiny applications are web-based interfaces that allow users to run R statistical software without having to program or install R. These apps serve as an interactive environment where uses can point-and-click their way to discovery. The first portion of this talk will be an overview of Shiny Applications and some examples. The latter portion will focus on the creation of Shiny Applications in R.
