Upon completion of the program, attendees will be able to:
- Define population and disease conditions that predispose to potential decisional capacity concerns
- Demonstrate the use of capacity evaluation tools in the setting of the research consent process
- Evaluate research strategies that maximize conduct while ensuring human subject's protections in impaired populations
