Ethically Analyze Academic Output with SciVal Metrics

About this webinar

Research impact metrics aim to give a balanced, multi-dimensional view for assessing scholarly productivity. This webinar will describe the most frequently used SciVal metrics, what they truly measure and how they are interpreted. Elsevier’s Linda Galloway will introduce metrics typically used to analyze academic units. She will be joined by analyst Moriah Gonzales of Texas Tech University who will share how, without a background in research, she got up to speed on research metrics. Moriah will provide live examples of how metrics help characterize research output and impact at Texas Tech.
