What is possible? It is the question that drives and shapes everything we do at the University of Kentucky. It enables us to achieve what we call “wildly possible.”

In 2019, that question compelled us to dream bigger dreams; to grow as a more diverse and welcoming campus; to break new ground with inventions and discoveries that are creating jobs, healing lives and transforming communities.

The numbers tell a compelling story: our largest first-year class and a deeper commitment to enrolling and graduating students from traditionally underrepresented populations … a hospital ranked first in the state and among the country’s leaders in critical care for the fourth year in a row … record levels of investment in research, much of which is devoted to the diseases and addictions that challenge our Commonwealth.

But the numbers are only part of the story. It’s what the numbers enable us to do that is so remarkable.

Together, we are the University of, for and with Kentucky.

Together, we are asking, every day in new and exciting ways, what’s possible.

Together, we are finding the answers by stepping up, speaking out, and daring to act and achieve boldly.
