Researchers at the University of Kentucky need your help to understand attitudes and behaviors related to preventing the spread of COVID-19. Anyone over the age of 18 is invited to complete a short survey from Wellness, Health, & You (WHY), an ongoing research project that seeks to understand how different life experiences affect wellbeing and health.

Our social nature is a large part of the challenge of containing the pandemic – the virus spreads between people who are near each other—so it is very important that we understand what steps people are taking to prevent infections. The WHY survey will ask about your efforts to protect yourself and how much risk you feel. Understanding how to stop the spread of COVID-19 is crucial to saving lives and re-opening the economy.

You can make a difference! Taking the WHY survey is one way you can help the worldwide effort to stop the pandemic. We need all people to participate, especially groups that are often not included in health research, such as people from rural areas, people of color, the LGBTQIA community, people with disabilities, and women. The survey takes about 15 minutes. All information is kept private and confidential.

Complete the survey today at wellnesshealthandyou.org.

You can also help by forwarding the survey to your family, friends, and co-workers and encouraging them to help COVID-19 research by joining WHY and responding.

Your experience can help shape the future of healthcare and research. WHY members also receive health information and research participation opportunities relevant to them.
