An event dedicated to urban forestry!

Hosted by the Urban Forest Initiative, with support from the UK Office of Sustainability, Kentucky Division of Forestry, UK Entomology, and UK Forestry and Natural Resources, join us for Canopy Con — a one-day conference with talks, field demonstrations and networking on urban forestry.

The Urban Forest Initiative is a collaborative group of University of Kentucky and Lexington community stakeholders whose purpose is to promote and protect the urban tree canopy on the UK campus, in Lexington and throughout the region

Themed "Connecting People with Trees: Empowering Citizens Scientists," all are invited to this inaugural conference. Space is limited and the first 30 students get in free!
