The Human Resources (HR) Director reviews and approves payroll documents, training plans, Integrated Employment System (IES) job postings and submits these documents to the appropriate University administrative office.  The HR director is the liaison between Research support units and Research Centers and Institutes and the University HR office providing the HR Directors and Supervisors with HR policy interpretation.  This position is responsible for ensuring all Research Support Unit employees are paid accurately and timely.

In addition to the HR responsibilities, this position also provides support to the Research Fiscal Officer during the annual budget process.  This position reconciles RAFA cost centers, prepares budget reports and responds to inquiries with regard to financial transactions for RAFA.  This position acts as a resource to other fiscal officers in the Research Centers and Institutes with regard to financial, budget, and human resource issues.
